TheDEMOSTENE project (standing for the French terms “DEMOnstrateur de production et STockage intelligENT” for “Smart Storage and Production Demonstrator) is a FASEP project launched aiming to highlight the principle of photovoltaic self-consumption.
It addresses several constraints encountered by consumers and producers, notably at sites where the injection of surplus electricity production is not tolerated or where the national electricity grid is not stable.
All of these factors led the project to set up in Morocco at the Green Energy Park site, IRESEN’s solar energy research platform.
