A Mini-Solar Farm® is a small ground-mounted photovoltaic production unit (with a minimum area of 3,500 m2 and an output of between 250 kWp and 1 MWp) installed on undeveloped land: wasteland, degraded or unused land in an artisanal, industrial or low-agriculture potential zone.
The electricity produced is distributed by Ilek, a 100%-green electricity supplier.
Located in your area, as close as possible to the needs of consumers, the energy produced by the Mini-Solar Farm® will be consumed locally thanks to an alternative supply offer.
In the service of biodiversity, the Mini-Solar Farm®, combines the production of renewable energy and the development of a beekeeping activity through a partnership with the Occitanie Beekeepers’ Union.
To this end, the land is maintained and may be seeded with bee-friendly plant species to provide for the needs of the bees on-site and ensure the sustainability of the hives. The Mini Champ Solaire® gives a purpose to your renewable energy project by committing to the balance of the ecosystem and sustainable development, through the coexistence of these two activities.
In order to develop this technical solution throughout the region, Mini Champ Solaire Occitanie is the result of a partnership between local players. Thus, SOLVEO Energies, theAREC (Agence Régionale de l’Energie et du Climat d’Occitanie) and Ilek have joined forces to co-develop, co-construct and co-operate small solar photovoltaic power plants in the region.
