Wind turbines

Wind is a free and inexhaustible source of energy. Thanks to technical progress, it is now possible to produce more and more of the electricity needed for our daily lives locally and in large quantities.

A wind power project is a tool for regional development thanks to the tax benefits and the involvement of local and regional companies during all stages of the project, from development to operation. Wind power is an energy that fosters investment and employment.

SOLVEO Energies’ offer
  • A project starts with a diagnosis of the territory that can accommodate wind turbines to take into consideration the regulatory and technical, landscape, human and environmental constraints.
  • We then initiate contact with local elected officials, landowners and farmers and the administration.
  • This process continues with environmental, landscape, acoustic and naturalist impact studies to sustainably develop the area concerned.
  • To put together the best possible application for environmental authorisation from the local Prefect, we use the services of specialised consultancies and independent associations.
  • These studies are conducted in close collaboration with the State’s instructive services (DREAL, DDT, ABF, DGAC, etc.).

The SOLVEO Energies team guarantees a close relationship from the exploratory studies to the end of the operation: meetings, discussions, public meetings, etc.

Wind energy for investment and employment

  • Economic benefits: territorial economic contribution and property tax for communities, land rental for owners.
  • Local heritage: From road maintenance to rural habitat preservation.
  • Image: Wind energy is environmentally friendly through the use of a clean energy source, and rewarding through the use of innovative technology.
  • Tourism: A wind farm can be the starting point of a more encompassing local project, with cultural, educational, tourist or economic aspects.
  • Environment: The territory participates in the respect of France’s international commitments by contributing to the reduction of CO2 emissions while being sensitive to the local environment. In addition to the application of the Kyoto Protocol, the French government is conducting actions to encourage the development of renewable energies, particularly during the COP 21 conference.
